When you’re on the road, there’s a good chance you’ll see your next destination as a hair-drenched spectacle.
But if you’re in the mood to do your hair on your own, there are many options available, especially in the United States.
For Trump, that includes the hairstyle that’s been his trademark for nearly three decades.
It was during the 2016 presidential campaign, as Trump faced questions about his wife’s hair, that he said he was working on a hair transplant, according to the New York Times.
Trump said the transplant was not to make his wife look better, but to give her more of a “natural look,” the newspaper reported.
It was a move that could not have come at a worse time for Trump, who was being besieged by scrutiny over his use of a private jet to fly to Mar-a-Lago in Florida for a private party.
While Trump is often credited with having a “Trump hair transplant,” he had previously admitted to the use of Botox and other injections to get his hair straightened and styled in the past.
“You have to be careful what you’re putting into your body,” he said in 2010, according the Washington Post.
The next day, he told NBC’s Chuck Todd that the transplant would not improve the look of his wife.
“She’s got a very natural looking face and you don’t have to have Botox in your body to look beautiful,” he told Todd.
“But she has natural hair.”
He later added, “You have no idea how beautiful I am, how beautiful my wife is.”
